Ann Ehlert, Owner and President of Bluefish Resource Group founded the company in 2009, but she isn’t new to the construction industry. Ann has been consulting customers on their needs, goals and managing construction projects since 1992. It is the love of construction, passion for the customer and delivering a high level of service that she has so many loyal customers and partners.
In 2001 Ann founded Fourth Street Systems, a traditional technology contracting company, in partnership with Rob Ehlert. They combined their individual talents and focused on meeting the unique needs and goals of their customers and selecting integrated systems for their facilities. The company grew until it was sold to Hunt Electric in 2008.
In 2009 while analyzing the construction process it became more evident that there was a hole. No one was managing the Technology piece, it was an afterthought. General Contractors were being burdened with managing half a dozen or more low voltage contractors, which were often not their subcontractor. As a result, no one was managing the coordination with rough-in, pathways and fire stopping. No one was managing the integration of multiple systems being installed by multiple low voltage contractors. No one was answering the needs when a user group made a suggestion with some new technology that they heard of or seen somewhere else.
This is what Bluefish Resource Group does. We fill that hole; we manage the coordination, communication and have suggestions of new technology to improve our customer’s workflow. Bluefish Resource Group manages all aspects of our customer’s technology solutions and technology projects from conception to completion.
